From the fine print

What the rules say

8 notes

Disqualifiers1

Any one of these can void an entry or a win.

  • Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, automated, computer-generated, or bulk-submitted mail-in entry requests are prohibited, and each outer envelope may contain only one entry request (must be mailed separately).

Show the rules' wording· How to Enter, sec. 2

“Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, automated, computer-generated, or bulk-submitted entry requests are prohibited.”

Advantages2

Things in the rules that work in your favor.

  • No promotion-wide cap on mail-in entries or total entries per person is stated anywhere in the rules — only a 1-per-day mail-in limit. Over the full Sep 1–Sep 30 postmark window that allows up to 30 mail-ins (3,000 entries) for the cost of 30 stamps, with no ceiling comparable to a purchaser's spending.

Show the rules' wording· How to Enter, sec. 2

“Limit one (1) free mail-in entry request per person per calendar day during the Sweepstakes Period.”

  • The winner may skip the vehicle entirely and take a flat $7,500 cash prize instead (Option Two) — a straightforward, no-hassle cash-out choice not all sponsors offer.

Show the rules' wording· Grand Prize, Option Two

“In lieu of receiving the vehicle and associated cash/delivery benefit, the Winner may elect to receive a $7,500 USD cash prize .”

Timing1

  • The rules reserve the right to run undisclosed purchase multiplier/bonus periods but only under the “ONLINE PURCHASE ENTRY” heading; the rules never state whether any such multiplier would also apply to free mail-in entries. Treat mail-ins as NOT receiving any purchase multiplier unless a specific promotion says otherwise.

Show the rules' wording· How to Enter, sec. 1

“Sponsor may offer limited-time promotional entry multipliers or bonus entry periods during the Sweepstakes Period. The applicable multiplier, promotional period, and other promotional terms will be disclosed by Sponsor at the time of the promotion.”

Costs2

  • Sponsor disclaims responsibility for postage-due mail; a mail-in entry sent without full postage risks not being delivered/counted (the rules do not explicitly say postage-due mail will be rejected, only that Sponsor is not responsible for it).

Show the rules' wording· How to Enter, sec. 2

“Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, delayed, damaged, incomplete, illegible, postage-due, or misdirected mail.”

  • If the winner picks the vehicle (Option One) and takes the $2,500 as cash rather than free delivery, they must handle and pay for their own transportation, title, registration and insurance on the Jeep themselves; free delivery is offered only as an alternative to taking that $2,500 in cash, and even then is limited to the contiguous United States.

Show the rules' wording· Vehicle Prize Conditions

“If the Winner selects the vehicle prize and elects the $2,500 cash option rather than free delivery, the Winner is responsible for all transportation, delivery, travel, title, registration, licensing, insurance, and other expenses associated with taking possession of the vehicle.”

Oddities2

  • The four 'Quick Entry Pack' digital-purchase products are inconsistent: Silver ($100→100), Gold ($250→250) and Diamond ($500→500) all match the stated $1=1 entry base rate exactly, but Bronze ($25→‘Gives you 75X Entries’, i.e. 75 entries) pays 3 entries per dollar — 3x better than every other pack and the base rate, with no rules text explaining the discrepancy.

    Show the rules' wording· products/bronze-quick-entry-pack

“Introducing the Premium $25 Quick Entries by Official Lifted Trucks.”

  • The potential winner's response deadline before disqualification is left to Sponsor's unstated discretion (“the time specified by Sponsor”) rather than a fixed number of days stated in the rules.

Show the rules' wording· Random Drawing and Winner Selection

“fails to respond within the time specified by Sponsor, is determined to be ineligible, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the potential Winner may be disqualified”
