What the rules say

15 notes

Disqualifiers4

Any one of these can void an entry or a win.

  • Envelopes with typed, computer-generated, pre-printed, or otherwise mechanically-produced addresses are void - the envelope itself (not just the entry) must be hand-addressed by the entrant.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, Mail-In Entry Envelope Requirements

“Envelopes bearing typed, computer-generated, pre-printed, or otherwise mechanically-produced addresses will be void.”

  • Metered postage, permit imprint indicia, or pre-paid shipping labels void the envelope - only adhesive US postage stamps are accepted.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, Mail-In Entry Envelope Requirements

“Each envelope must bear valid United States postage in the form of adhesive postage stamps; envelopes bearing metered postage, permit imprint indicia, pre-paid shipping labels, or any other automated or bulk postage marking will be void.”

  • More than one Mail-in Entry in the same envelope voids ALL entries in that envelope, not just the excess ones.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, Mail-In Entry Envelope Requirements

“If Sponsor receives an envelope containing more than one Mail-in Entry, all Mail-in Entries contained in that envelope will be void.”

  • Using multiple email addresses, names, identities or addresses to exceed the entry cap can disqualify ALL of that individual's entries.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, How to Enter

“One valid email address per participant. Individuals may not share the same email address. Using multiple email addresses, names, identities, addresses or any other procedures to submit entries in excess of the applicable entry limit may result in the disqualification of all entries belonging to an individual.”

Advantages7

Things in the rules that work in your favor.

  • Donations, digital free entries, AND Mail-in Entries all receive the same entry Multiplier (2X-5X) when a Special Promotion is active - mail-ins are not a second-class entry method here.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, 6(A) Multipliers

“Multipliers: Where a Multiplier (such as a 2X, 3X, 4X, or 5X entry promotion, as described in Section 6(C) below) is in effect at the time of an entry, the Multiplier applies uniformly to all eligible methods of entry other than Sustained Membership entries, including paid donations, free entries, and Mail-in Entries, on the same terms. Sustained Membership entries are not subject to Multipliers and are credited at the tier amount in effect for the member.”

  • No stated limit on the NUMBER of separate mail-in envelopes one person can send - only the blanket per-Sweepstakes entry cap (200,000 entries) applies across every method combined.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, Per-Sweepstakes Cap

“Per-Sweepstakes Entry Cap. Except as otherwise specified in any Sweepstakes Rules, the maximum number of entries any one participant may accumulate for a given Sweepstakes is eight thousand (8,000) for rallies launched prior to July 1st, 2026 and two hundred thousand (200,000) entries for rallies launched on July 1st 2026 and later, regardless of the method or methods of entry used (the “Per-Sweepstakes Cap”). Entries received in excess of the Per-Sweepstakes Cap are void.”

  • No state, province, or territory is excluded anywhere in the rules (no Quebec, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, etc. carve-outs found) - broader eligibility than most sweepstakes reviewed.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, 1. Eligibility

“1. Eligibility : Unless otherwise specified in any Sweepstakes Rules, all Sweepstakes are open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who have reached the age of majority in their State, Province or Territory of residence and are of legal age to form a binding contract. Employees of Sponsor or Sponsor Partners and their respective family members are prohibited from entering. No person is eligible to win more than one prize on this site during any one (1) day period.”

  • A person may win more than one Alltroo prize overall - the only restriction is winning more than one prize 'on this site during any one (1) day period,' which is a very narrow window.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, 1. Eligibility

“No person is eligible to win more than one prize on this site during any one (1) day period.”

  • Winner can choose a $70,000 cash check instead of the Grand Wagoneer + $20,000 tax payment package (worth $112,000 to a US resident).

Show the rules' wording· Rally page, Prize

“the Winner must advise Sponsor in writing on or before the deadline provided by Sponsor if Winner would like to choose the Grand Prize or the Cash Alternative Option, which is a check for US$70,000 .”

  • As of Oct 1, 2026 a 4x Quadruple Entries promotion is live on every donation tier ($25 = 600 entries instead of 150). The Standard Terms say a Multiplier in effect at the time of entry applies to free entries and Mail-in Entries too, so a free online submission should be worth 10,000 entries instead of 2,500. No end time is posted for the 4x.

Show the rules' wording· rally page, donation tiers (archived 2026-10-01); Standard Terms 6(A) Multipliers

    “4x - Quadruple Entries”

  • Cross-entry promotion: any entry made Sep 28 - Oct 2, 2026 is also entered into the Hennessey VelociRaptor 1200 rally. The page does not say whether free or mail-in entries count, or at what entry value.

Show the rules' wording· rally page banner (archived 2026-10-01)

“Enter 9/28–10/2 and you’ll also be entered to win a Hennessey VelociRaptor 1200!”

Timing1

  • Potential Winners must acknowledge the notification within 24 HOURS or they forfeit the prize to an alternate winner - a very tight response window.

Show the rules' wording· Rally page, Winner Notification

“Grand Prize Winner Notification : A random drawing will be conducted on or about Monday, December 7, 2026 from all eligible entries received. The Potential Winner will be notified by email around 12:00 PM CT on Tuesday, December 8, 2026 . If the Potential Winner does not acknowledge acceptance of his or her prize within 24-hours, he or she will forfeit the prize and another Potential Winner will be chosen using the same procedure specified in the Standard Sweepstakes Terms and Conditions.”

Costs1

  • Winner is solely responsible for any shipping, import duties, registration costs, or taxes if they live outside the contiguous United States.

Show the rules' wording· Rally page, Taxes or Fees covered

“Taxes or Fees covered: If Grand Prize Winner is a US resident who does not choose the Cash Alternative Option, the Grand Prize will also include a payment of US $20,000 for Winner to pay required US income taxes. This amount may not fully cover all tax liabilities. Sponsor will pay the registration and title fees and provide shipping of the Prize to the Winner’s address or to a location within 100 miles of Winner’s address within the contiguous United States only. Shipping, registration, and title fees outside the contiguous United States are not included. If the Winner resides outside the contiguous United States, the Winner will be solely responsible for any and all shipping charges, import duties, registration costs, taxes, or other fees required in the destination location.”

Oddities2

  • The Mail-In Entry Envelope Requirements and 'Alternative method of entry' link exist on every rally page, but the actual mailing address and card format are delivered only via a client-side JavaScript popup (href="#") not present in the archived HTML or the site's REST API - could not be verified.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, How to Enter (B)

“Mail-In Entry Envelope Requirements: Each Mail-in Entry must be submitted in its own separate envelope that is hand-addressed by the Entrant. Envelopes bearing typed, computer-generated, pre-printed, or otherwise mechanically-produced addresses will be void. Each envelope must bear valid United States postage in the form of adhesive postage stamps; envelopes bearing metered postage, permit imprint indicia, pre-paid shipping labels, or any other automated or bulk postage marking will be void. Each envelope may contain no more than one (1) Mail-in Entry. If Sponsor receives an envelope containing more than one Mail-in Entry, all Mail-in Entries contained in that envelope will be void. Sponsor’s determination as to whether an envelope and its contents satisfy these requirements is final.”

  • Sponsor will never confirm receipt of a Mail-in Entry, and Mail-in Entries never appear in the online account/dashboard (which shows donation activity only) - the entrant has no way to verify a mail-in was received or counted.

Show the rules' wording· Standard Terms, Mail-In Entry Acknowledgment Policy

“Mail-In Entry Acknowledgment Policy: Sponsor will not provide any correspondence, confirmation, or acknowledgment of receipt of Mail-in Entries. Requests for confirmation that a Mail-in Entry was received or processed will not be responded to. Mail-in Entries will not appear in any online account, user portal, or dashboard associated with the Sponsor’s website. The online user portal reflects donation activity only and does not display entries submitted through the Mail-in Entry method. Entrants who submit a Mail-in Entry should retain their proof of mailing (such as a certified mail receipt) for their own records. Submission of a valid Mail-in Entry in accordance with these rules constitutes the Entrant’s acceptance that no confirmation of receipt or entry status will be provided.”
