Editorial policy, corrections and removals
Where our facts come from, how we keep money away from them, and how to get something corrected or removed.

Where our facts come from
- Official rules. Each listing comes from the giveaway's own official rules, archived with the date we read them and a fingerprint, so we can show what they said at the time.
- Sponsors' announcements. Winners are recorded exactly as the sponsor announced them, with a link to the announcement. We never fill gaps from other sources.
- Public records. State business registries, and Google's and Meta's public ad libraries.
- Our own arithmetic. Values, deadlines, costs and tax estimates, which are labelled as estimates.
Facts, not verdicts
We don't rate, certify or accuse sponsors. The “Is it legit?” section on each sponsor page lists facts with their sources, so you can judge for yourself. Our labels describe what a source shows:
- PO box and Virtual mailbox: the address is a post office box or a mail-forwarding service, which many legitimate businesses use.
- Appears residential: public property or map records describe the address as a home. Many small businesses are run from home.
- Unconfirmed: we couldn't confirm the detail from a second source.
- No registry record retrieved: we didn't find or couldn't check a record, not that the company doesn't exist.
None of these labels means a sponsor has done anything wrong.
Our summaries and the official rules
Our summaries, rule notes and mail-in instructions are our reading of the official rules. For anything that can void an entry, such as the card size, address, postmark date and limits, we show the rules' exact wording. If anything we say differs from the official rules, the rules govern.
Money never changes the facts
Some links earn us a commission, some sponsors pay to be shown first, and we show ads. None of that changes what we report. Sponsors can't pay to be listed, to be removed, or to change a fact, a flag, a winner record or a company record, and every paid placement is labelled “Sponsored.” Our Affiliate Disclosure explains how we make money.
Corrections
If something is wrong, email hello@allcargiveaways.com with the page link, what's wrong and a source if you have one. We aim to reply within two business days. When we get a fact wrong, we fix it and update the page's “checked” date. We don't remove accurate, sourced facts because someone asks us to, but we will add context when it helps readers.
For sponsors
If you run a giveaway we list, you can:
- correct any fact, or tell us your rules have changed (send the link to the new rules);
- send a short response to anything on your sponsor page, which we'll consider adding there;
- send a photo you'd rather we use, or ask us to remove one; and
- ask about a paid placement, which never changes what we report (see the Advertiser Terms).
For winners
We show only the name and location a sponsor published when it announced you, with a link to its announcement. If you'd rather not be listed, email us with the page link. We'll shorten your entry to a first name and last initial, or remove your name entirely, usually within five business days. We may keep a record that the prize was awarded, without your name.
Addresses
The addresses we show are the ones printed in official rules or in public business registries. If one is your home and you'd like it removed, email us. If it's where entrants must mail free entries for a giveaway that's still open, we'll remove it as soon as that giveaway closes, because readers need it to enter correctly; otherwise we'll remove it promptly. If a label on an address is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
Photos and other material
Prize photos come from sponsors' own giveaway pages and are credited. Owners can ask us to remove or replace them; see our Copyright and DMCA Policy.
Legal complaints
If you believe something we published is false and harmful, email us with “Legal” in the subject. Quote the exact statement, tell us why it's wrong, and include any evidence. Telling us is the fastest way to get an error fixed. Formal notices can also go to:
