From the fine print
What the rules say
Disqualifiers4
Any one of these can void an entry or a win.
Mailer must be hand-addressed by you personally, folded and taped per its own instructions, one per envelope, with ordinary postage you paid. Metered or pre-printed postage 'indicative of bulk processing' and bulk mailings are not processed.

Bulk mailings, multiple requests enclosed in a single envelope, and mailings bearing metered or pre-printed postage indicative of bulk processing are prohibited and will not be processed or entered into the Sweepstakes.”
The online request must be typed by you personally; any automated, third-party or service-assisted submission voids the entry and bars the entrant.

“Each web form entry must be manually keystroked and individually submitted by the Entrant personally. No web form may be completed, populated, or submitted, in whole or in part, by any automated system, device, script, macro, bot, software application, mechanical or programmatic process, or any third-party individual or service provider acting on behalf of the Entrant;”
Winner must pass a background check, sign an affidavit and release, give an SSN and proof of identity, and show proof of insurance and a valid driver's license. The sponsor may refuse the prize after the check.

“BACKGROUND CHECK: As an additional condition for verification as a prize winner and award of a prize,”
Using several emails, phones or identities to get more entries voids all of that entrant's entries and disqualifies them; entry services and sweepstakes clubs are banned.

“Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries or Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, phone numbers, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that Entrant’s Entries and that Entrant will be disqualified.”
Advantages4
Things in the rules that work in your favor.
The only cap is 100,000 entries per person across all methods (about 5,555 mailers), so mail-ins are effectively uncapped; each needs its own online request, its own printed mailer and its own stamp.

“Limit of 100,000 Entries per person regardless of entry type.”
Rules state a single grand prize with a $40,000 cash alternative (the TapKat page and FAQ also show the cash option); the car is valued at about $55,000.
Show the rules' wordingHide the wording· Prize
“There is one (1) grand prize available. The Prize is a Win this 1966 Mustang GT Convertible (approximate value of $55,000) or $40,000 in cash (“Prize”).”
Open to anyone 18 or older (or age of majority) except residents of Washington State and OFAC-sanctioned countries; Canadians must answer a skill question if selected. Not U.S.-only.
Show the rules' wordingHide the wording· Eligibility
“The Sweepstakes is open to anyone 18 years or older or the age of majority in Entrant’s local jurisdiction, if older. Not available to residents of the State of Washington.”
Donations raised so far (Oct 1, 2026): $148,750 at 18 entries per $25. Winning entry numbers on flash cards reach six figures (e.g. 133215), so the pool is large but its size is not stated.

Extra free entries1
Free route exists: request a QR-coded mailer on the TapKat page, print it, fold and tape it as the mailer says, and mail it. One mailer is worth 18 entries, the same as a $25 donation.

“Each eligible mailer will receive eighteen (18) Entries.”
Timing2
Mailer must be postmarked by Oct 29, 2026 (entry period ends 11:59 PM PDT) and received within 5 business days after. Counting Oct 30, Nov 2, 3, 4 and 5, that is about Nov 5, 2026, only one day before the Nov 6 drawing. Mail well before Oct 29.

“To be eligible, mailers must be postmarked during the Sweepstakes Entry Period and must be received by Sponsor within five (5) business days thereafter.”
Sponsor may run promotional offers that add entries to donations; the TapKat page showed '+0 Promo' on every tier on Oct 1, 2026, and the rules do not say mail-ins would get any promo. The help page says promos are not applied retroactively.

“From time to time, Sponsor may make promotional offers where Entrants can obtain additional Entries.”
Costs1
Winner pays pickup or delivery and all other expenses, plus all federal, state and local taxes and fees; the sponsor does not cover taxes.
Show the rules' wordingHide the wording· Prize
“All expenses and costs not expressly listed in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the verified Prize winner.”
Oddities6
You cannot just hand-write a card: the free route needs an online request first, then a printed QR mailer whose own instructions (size, folding, taping) are not in the rules. The mailer was not read because that needs submitting the form.
Show the rules' wordingHide the wording· How to Enter, method 3
“(iv) after you submit your request, you will be redirected to an Alternative Method of Entry page with a QR code. Print this mailer, follow the mailer instructions and mail postage paid to: Sweepstakes Entry, 6525 Gunpark Drive, Suite 370-505, Boulder, CO 80301;”
Two different addresses: the free mailer goes to the Boulder, CO box; paid mailed donations (check or money order) go to 777 Arnold Drive, Suite 100, Martinez. Do not mix them up.

“mail an envelope containing your donation in the form of a check or money order and contact details, including first name, last name, email, phone number, and address, to The Cobra Experience, Attn: Sweepstakes Entries, 777 Arnold Drive, Suite 100, Martinez, CA 94553;”
The Grand Prize is 'a 1966 Mustang GT Convertible (approximate value of $55,000) or $40,000 in cash', but the same rules say the prize may not be redeemed for cash by the winner. Whether the cash option can really be chosen is contradicted by the rules.
Show the rules' wordingHide the wording· Prize
“Prize is nontransferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash by Prize winner.”
A separate Starlink Mini 'flash giveaway' runs alongside (entry ends Oct 4, 2026). The rules do not mention it, so whether a free mailer also enters it is unknown. The TapKat page labels it '29 Days Left' on Oct 1, which does not match the Oct 4 end on the museum page.

Two different response windows for a potential winner: 30 days to respond to the notification, but failing the initial verification or the Canadian skill question within 48 hours of notification may disqualify.

“Failure by potential Prize winner to respond to the initial verification, or failure by Canadian Entrant(s) to correctly answer the skill question, within 48 hours of notification may result in disqualification”
