Show the rules' wording· sec. 3C

    “NO ENVELOPES WILL BE ACCEPTED.”

  • Must be handprinted in black ink on a plain 4x6 postcard. The rules do not say what happens with other ink or typed text, but the requirement is stated.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3C

“on a plain 4” x 6” postcard (ENVELOPE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED), legibly handprint in black ink your first name, last name and e-mail address and send to: “Proof Camaro” Giveaway, PO Box 428, Newark, NY 14513.”

  • Card written or completed by anyone but the entrant is void; no photocopies or other mechanical reproductions.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3C

“Entries submitted or completed by anyone other than the Entrant are void. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted.”

  • Winner must accept delivery or pick up the car within 7 days of being told it is ready, and must show a valid driver's license and proof of insurance at delivery.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 5

“Grand Prize Winner must accept delivery of the vehicle or pick up the vehicle within 7 days of notification that the vehicle is ready.”

  • A potential winner must return the affidavit/release and a W-9 within the time frame in the notification, or an alternate winner is drawn. The notification period itself is not given in hours.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 6

“If the potential Grand Prize Winner fails to sign and return the Required Documents within the required time period, the potential Grand Prize Winner forfeits their right to the Grand Prize and an alternate potential Grand Prize Winner may be selected at random from among all remaining non-winning eligible entries during the Sweepstakes Period.”

  • A potential winner without a unique, valid social security number is disqualified and may be redrawn.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 6

“does not have a unique, personal and valid social security number for Sponsor (or any party acting on its behalf) to report the tax liability associated with acceptance of the Grand Prize, the potential Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified”

  • A potential winner may be asked to consent to a background check and the sponsor may refuse the prize after reviewing it.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 7

“potential Grand Prize Winner may be asked to agree in writing to Sponsor having a background check conducted on them”

  • Entering with multiple accounts or other methods can void entries and lead to disqualification.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3C

“Any attempt by any Entrant to enter this Sweepstakes using multiple/different accounts or any other methods may void the Entrant’s entries and may result in disqualification, at the sole discretion of Sponsor.”

Advantages4

Things in the rules that work in your favor.

  • Free postcard is worth 5 entries, the same as a $5 purchase, and the rules set no limit on the number of postcards other than the overall 2,500-entry cap per entrant across all methods (500 postcards at the base 5 entries). A mailer can reach the same cap as the biggest buyer.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3C

“Regardless of the method of entry, there is a limit of two thousand five hundred (2,500) entries per Entrant during the Sweepstakes Period.”

  • Optional markings on the postcard multiply the 5 base entries: writing MULTIPLIER bottom right is 5x, and writing Double bottom middle is another 2x. The rules do not say whether the two stack by addition or multiplication, so the resulting count (25, 35 or 50 per card) is not stated; the 2,500 cap still applies.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3C

“To receive five times (5x) entries, hand write “MULTIPLIER” in the bottom righthand corner of the postcard. To receive another two times (2x) entries, hand write “Double” in the bottom middle of the postcard.”

  • Cash option: the winner may opt in to take $20,000 cash instead of the car. The sponsor may also give $135,000 cash if the vehicle becomes unavailable.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 5

“Grand Prize Winner may opt-in to select $20,000 cash in lieu of the vehicle.”

  • Minimum age is 18 (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi). The pool is the 50 states and DC with no state exclusions listed.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 2

“Open to legal permanent United States residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (except as follows: nineteen (19) years of age or older in Alabama and Nebraska; twenty-one (21) years of age or older in Mississippi) as of the date of entry (the “Entrant”).”

Extra free entries1

  • Rules reserve extra entries for non-purchase actions (registering, e-mail/SMS signup, newsletter or rewards program) but publish no entry counts, and the sponsor's sweepstakes and bonus pages list none on 2026-10-01.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3B

“A certain designated number of entries may be received for performing specified actions other than making a purchase. By way of example only, such actions may include registering at the Website; signing up for e-mail and/or SMS text communications; subscribing to newsletter or a rewards program.”

Timing2

  • Entries are not acknowledged or returned and the sponsor does not verify receipt. Late, misdirected and postage-due mail is disclaimed.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3C

“All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, postage due or damaged mailed entries.”

  • Purchase multipliers and bonus entries are set by the sponsor on its website at checkout and can be changed or removed at any time. Mail-in entries have their own markings (MULTIPLIER, Double) and do not follow the purchase multiplier by the rules' wording.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3A

“the number of entries received via qualifying purchase may be multiplied, as disclosed on the Website at the time of purchase.”

Costs3

  • Winners-list request needs your own stamped business-size SASE, sent to PO Box 458 (not the entry PO Box 428), received by Jan 22, 2027.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 11

“send a self-addressed, stamped (business size) envelope to: “Proof Camaro” Winners List Request, PO Box 458, Newark, NY 14513. Requests must be received by January 22, 2027.”

  • Winner pays registration, license, title, insurance, all taxes (and any other expense of accepting the car); the sponsor covers only up to $2,500 of shipping. Prize is reported on a Form 1099.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 5

“Grand Prize Winner will be solely responsible for any applicable registration, license, title and insurance fees, all taxes (federal, state, local, municipal, sales and/or income) and any expenses not listed herein related to the acceptance and use of the Grand Prize.”

  • Returning purchased items cancels the entries earned; tax, shipping, handling and tips earn nothing; wholesale orders earn nothing.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3A

“if items received via qualifying purchase are returned (whether or not refund is issued), any entries received in conjunction therewith will be cancelled.”

Oddities9

  • The postmark deadline (Dec 14) falls one day AFTER the sweepstakes ends (Dec 13, 11:59:59 p.m. PT), and receipt is allowed up to Dec 19. The drawing is only from entries 'received during the Sweepstakes Period', so a postcard that arrives after Dec 13 may not be eligible even though the AMOE accepts it. Mail early enough to arrive by Dec 13 to be safe.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3C vs secs. 1 and 4

“Entries must be postmarked by December 14, 2026 and received by December 19, 2026.”

  • The drawing clause counts only entries received during the Sweepstakes Period (ends Dec 13), but the mail-in clause accepts entries received up to Dec 19.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 4

“There will be one (1) random drawing held on or about December 22, 2026 to select one (1) grand prize winner (the “Grand Prize Winner”) from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.”

  • The postcard asks only for first name, last name and e-mail. It has no street address, phone or date of birth. Winner notification goes to 'a contact source provided at the time of registration', which for a mail-in entrant can only be the e-mail on the card, so a wrong or unread e-mail would lose a win.

Show the rules' wording· secs. 3C and 6

“Grand Prize Winner will be notified via a contact source provided at the time of registration within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing date.”

  • Entry PO Box 428 and winners-list PO Box 458 are both in Newark, NY 14513. Do not mix them up; entries go to 428.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3C and sec. 11

  • The cash alternative the winner can choose ($20,000) is far below the car's stated value ($135,000), so the choice is not a like-for-like cash prize.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 5

“Grand Prize Winner may opt-in to select $20,000 cash in lieu of the vehicle.”

  • Gift cards: buying a gift card earns 1 entry per $1, yet using a gift card is not a qualifying purchase, while a later clause says the dollar amount spent includes use of a gift card. The rules contradict themselves on gift cards.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 3A

“Also, Entrants will receive one (1) entry for every $1 purchase on a gift card; however, use of a gift card to purchase is NOT a qualifying purchase.”

  • Eligibility in the rules is limited to 'legal permanent United States residents'; the sponsor's pages say 'legal US resident'. The rules govern, and the stricter reading excludes non-permanent visa holders.

  • The rules name no independent administrator; the drawing is run by an unnamed 'independent third party'. The sponsor is Proof Products USA LLC, Columbus, OH.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 4

“Random drawing will be conducted by an independent third party, whose decisions are based upon its sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules and are final and binding in all respects.”

  • The vehicle may carry mileage and the winner must ask for the mileage figure; color, options and accessories are at the sponsor's sole discretion, and the pictured car may differ from the one awarded.

Show the rules' wording· sec. 5

“Vehicle color, options and accessories to be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The vehicle may have mileage and the Grand Prize Winner is responsible for requesting any mileage on the vehicle.”
